2023 Pilgrimage to Alaska Cruise

Announcing the ORTHODOX pilgrimage CRUISE TO ALASKA: august 19-26, 2023

Join us for the 5th edition of our exceptional 7-day Conference & Pilgrimage Orthodox Cruise to Alaska, to the roots of Orthodox Christianity in North America sailing from Seattle on August 19, 2023. Be amazed by the power and beauty of creation at Glacier Bay, explore Juneau and Sitka, the historical capital of Russian America. Sitka is the home of St Michael’s Cathedral and the Bishop’s House where Saint Innocent himself served. Two engaging speakers will offer daily lectures dealing with Alaskan history and Orthodox spirituality. The speakers and cruise leaders are Fr Michael Oleksa, one of the foremost authorities on Orthodoxy and Native Cultures in Alaska, and Fr Laurent Cleenewerck, editor of the Eastern-Greek Orthodox New Testament and of several well-received books.

The ship will be the spectacular Holland America Eurodam, with cabins starting at $ 1,934 (stateroom per person, which includes all taxes and conference fees). This semi-annual event is organized with the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop BENJAMIN of San Francisco and the West and His Grace Bishop ALEXEI of Sitka and Alaska (Orthodox Church in America).

Registrations should be made as soon as possible as only 46 slots are available and will be allocated on a first come, first-serve basis. COVID-19 proof of vaccination not required to board (testing may be required; all health restrictions are subject to change; US passport or green card required).
